NEWS AND RESOURCES FOR MEMBERS OF THE IEEE SIGNAL PROCESSING SOCIETY

New videos from our Computational Imaging Technical Committee

As part of our ongoing video series to demonstrate the applications of signal processing in everyday life, the IEEE Signal Processing Society Computational Imaging Technical Committee has created a new video, Computational Imaging in Everyday Life:

In addition, we’re happy to announce a new video featuring SPS’ own Katie Bouman, who in 2019, was celebrated for developing the imaging algorithms that were used in acquiring the first image of a black hole. Dr. Bouman shares her insight about the role and importance of computational imaging, her experience in that groundbreaking moment, and the exciting prospects for young engineers to get involved with the field.

You can view these videos and more on the SPS YouTube channel, and subscribe to our channel to be the first to know when new videos are added!
