Postdoctoral Research Associate Position Available at Texas A&M University

The research group led by Dr. Erchin Serpedin at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) invites application for a postdoctoral research associate position.  The anticipated research work will lie at the interface between information theory, coding, optimization, and statistical signal processing.

Motivated and creative researcher with these specific qualifications are encouraged to apply: 1) a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Applied Mathematics (Probability and Statistics), 2) demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research, as evidenced by publications in top-tier international journals, and 3) good technical writing and communication skills. Candidates with strong background in information theory, communications, statistical signal processing, and mathematics are strongly encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be involved in the publication of the research results obtained in the project including journal publications and conference presentations. Furthermore, the successful applicant may be expected to assist in the supervision of any graduate research assistants who are working on research relating to the project.
