The 2022 Multimedia Prize Paper Award Nomination Period is Open. Any paper published in T-MM in 2019, 2020 or 2021 is eligible. Judging shall be on the bases of originality, subject matter, timeliness, potential impact, and presentation quality.

Good news! You asked and we listened! With more than one issue being planned in 2024 for the new JSTSP AI/ML Special Series, we will start to accept rolling submissions.

Integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) systems result from a coordinated or joint design of sensing and communication functionalities to achieve efficient use of limited spectrum, operation with low cost and compact size hardware, additional sensing services for wireless networks, or improved system performance.

To address rapidly growing interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for signal processing and data science, the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is launching a new special series on AI in Signal & Data Science, to be published within the IEEE Journal on Selected Topic in Signal Processing (JSTSP).

The 2023 Multimedia Prize Paper Award Nomination period is now open! Eligibility: Any paper published (final publication, not Early Access) in the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (T-MM) in 2020, 2021, or 2022.

Novel computational signal and image analysis approaches based on feature-rich mathematical/computational frameworks continue to push the limits of the technological envelope, thus providing optimized and efficient solutions.

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is happy to announce that Prof. Yonggang Wen will be the new Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (T-MM). His three-year term will be from January 2023 to December 2025.

For our 50th anniversary in 1998, the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) worked with the IEEE History Center to prepare a monograph outlining the history of the Society. In 2023, we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the IEEE Signal Processing Society!

The IEEE Transactions on Multimedia invites nominations for the position of Editor-in-Chief for a 3-year term starting 1 January 2023. Nominations should be submitted to the Steering Committee Chair, Wenwu Zhu, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, via email to wwzhu@tsinghua.edu.cn.
