Special Issue on Advances in Sensor Array Processing - In Memory of Alex B. Gershman

This special issue is devoted to the memory of the late Alex B. Gershman whose contributions are a cornerstone of advances in array processing made over the last three decades. Alex was an active member of IEEE SPS.

Alex’s seminal work is a pillar, which holds strong and steady the rising volume of sensor array processing research. He solved longstanding problems and made fundamental contributions to sensor array processing that inspired many others to follow suit, and paved the way for a continuous influx of new and innovative techniques.

August 1, 2012: Manuscript submission deadline
October 1, 2012: Notification to authors
December 1, 2011: Final manuscript submission
March 1, 2013: Publication
