This year the Signal Processing Society identified 9 Chapters who exhibited excellence in many facets of chapter management, member recruitment, and activities.

With the goal of turning data into information, and information into insight, the Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), in association with IEEE SPS SCET Student Branch Chapter, Gujarat Section and IEEE SCET Student Branch organized a National Level Project Competition on Data Science Challenge 1.0 (DSC 1.0).

The IEEE Signal Processing Society is happy to announce the addition of twenty-three new Chapters formed in 2021. We welcome the new SPS Chapters and wish them great success in their future activities and events.

The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted a global shift in meetings and events, many moving from in-person gatherings to a more virtual implementation. SPS embraces these changes not only during these unprecedentedly uncertain times, but to inspire future potential for its members and Chapters to expand their reach, engaging and empowering members and potential members to connect locally and globally, especially at a time when timely research and connection are of such great importance.

Annually, the IEEE Signal Processing Society supports numerous Member Driven Initiatives from our Chapters.  Presented here are the highlights from the IEEE SPS Gujarat Chapter international webinar on "Women Leading Technology".
