SPS Members received the 2012 Okawa Prize

Our SPS members Sadaoki Furui (Professor, Tokyo Institute of Technology) and Victor Zue (Professor, EECS, Massachusetts Institute of Technology) received the 2012 Okawa Prize.

The Okawa Prize is intended to pay tribute to and make public recognition of persons who have made outstanding contributions to the research,technological development and business in the information and telecommunications fields, internationally. The Prize includes a certificate, a gold medal and a cash award (¥10 million). The Okawa Prize is awarded to two recipients every year.
